The 8x8 Burghclere Summerhouse from Shire is a modern design with wide double doors, providing you with a light and airy space in which to relax and unwind in your garden. Use it for lounging or transform the space into a workshop, hobby room, teenagers den, dining space or more. Made from 12mm shiplap cladding, sturdy 34mm square framing and with a tongue and groove floor and roof, this structure is built with durability in mind. In addition to the double doors, there are three fixed windows, one to the front and one on each side with safety styrene glazing. 

This product comes as a self assembly kit with all instructions and fittings supplied, but if you would prefer to leave all the hard work to the experts at Shire, then opt for a home delivery and construction package.

Home Assembly Service 

If you don't have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available on this item. This service is conducted by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place before ordering this service. We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Specification

The Burghclere Summerhouses are manufactured using 12mm shiplap cladding, sturdy 34mm frames, 12mm tongue and groove boards topped with mineral felt for the roof and a 12mm tongue and groove boarded floor. The windows and doors are fitted with styrene safety glazed windows and the doors come complete with lockable mortice lock. FSC approved timber is used unless otherwise stated. All sheds are supplied with fixtures, fittings and instructions for home assembly.

Larger items will be delivered on a non returnable pallet or via HGV. The item will be unloaded from either a flatbed vehicle or HGV using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only. Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
