The Aqua Lock Self Watering Hanging Basket from Garland is designed to save water, time and effort. Made in the UK from weather resistant 100% recycled black plastic that won't rot or rust making it ideal for all year round displays. The 13 inch (33cm) diameter basket sits above a detachable water reservoir that can be filled with water by capturing excess water when watering from above, or twist to remove, refill and refit in seconds. The water reservoir allows the plants to draw water up into the basket via the capillary watering pipe on demand. This system reduces watering frequency, reduces the risk of the basket drying out and also makes watering easier and cleaner. By filling the reservoir directly, there is no risk of water overflow so the baskets can be also be used indoors. Feed can also be diluted in the reservoir to ensure it gets to the roots where it is needed most.
