This product can not be ordered on its own. The panel cap can only be ordered when a minimum order quantity of 3 panels is placed, which can be a mix of any fence or trellis panel from the Forest collection.

The 6ft Pressure Treated Panel Cap from Forest is suitable for use with fence or trellis panels either as a replacement cap or as a protective top. Whilst they are not essential, the provides a neat finish to your fence panel runs but is also designed to prevent and protect the panel from water ingress at the top, which in turn will help to extend the life of your fence panel.       

Manufactured in the UK from FSC certified timber from sustainable sources this mixed softwood panel cap is pressure treated which gives a natural timber colour and provides the cap with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee, eliminating the need for annual re-treatment.

Warranty & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 15 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment will leave the item with a pale green finish that allows the natural beauty of the wood to show through and over time if left this will weather to an attractive silver/grey finish. This is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product. Alternatively the pressure treated finish creates a good foundation for colouring to suit your personal taste. If you do decide to paint or stain this item it is advisable to allow the wood to weather for 2-3 months to avoid trapping any residual chemicals from the pressure treated process. Any paint or stain you use must then be suitable for pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
