The 5ft tall Pressure Treated Closeboard Fence Panel from Forest is strong, sturdy and secure fencing that is constructed with thick, overlapping, square cut 8mm boards that are arranged vertically and secured by a perimeter frame. They are reinforced further with two horizontal batons across the back and finished with a profiled panel cap making this panel more robust than common waney-edge panels. Closeboard fence panels are perfect for providing privacy and security along garden boundaries.

Manufactured in the UK from FSC certified timber from sustainable sources this rough sawn mixed softwood panel is pressure treated which provides the fence panel with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee.

Warranty & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 15 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint. If left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour; however you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield. This fence is made from wood which is a natural product that will include natural features like knots and veins through the grain. The wood will react to exposure to sunlight and changing moisture levels that may cause cracks or splits in the wood. These natural characteristics are due to the wood losing moisture during warm and dry seasons, during colder and wetter seasons the wood will uptake moisture again which will reduce these splits or cracks. This natural process will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
