This product can not be ordered on its own. It can only be ordered when a minimum order quantity of 3 panels is placed, which can be a mix of any fence or trellis panel from the Forest collection

The 2.4m Fence Rail from Forest is a half round backing rail that is ideal for use when making diamond fencing or post and rail fencing. The smooth-planed timber rail is also recommended for use in conjunction with Forests Diamond Expanding Screen (FGP410). Two rails per screen are required, with one affixed at the top intersection of the screens half rounds and one at the lower intersection to help support the panel and aid with rigidity and security.

Manufactured in the UK from PEFC certified timber from sustainable sources this mixed softwood screen is pressure treated which gives a natural timber colour and provides the expanding screen with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee, eliminating the need for annual re-treatment.

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend that two horizontal fence rails (sold separately) should be fixed to each Diamond Expanding Panel (FGP410) as supporting backing rails and to aid with rigidity.

Warranty & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 15 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment will leave the item with a pale green finish that allows the natural beauty of the wood to show through and over time if left this will weather to an attractive silver/grey finish. This is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product. Alternatively the pressure treated finish creates a good foundation for colouring to suit your personal taste. If you do decide to paint or stain this item it is advisable to allow the wood to weather for 2-3 months to avoid trapping any residual chemicals from the pressure treated process. Any paint or stain you use must then be suitable for pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
