The 6ft Concrete Gravel Board from Forest is manufactured in the UK from a lightweight concrete. This gravel board is up to 45% lighter than conventional concrete gravel boards which makes it easier for lifting and installing, especially when erecting fencing across a slope. When the gravel board is installed beneath a fence panel, it is designed to isolate the panel from ground moisture simply by deflecting any water rather than it being absorbed. As concrete gravel boards are not susceptible to rust, rot or decay they provide excellent protection for wooden fence panels and therefore will generally last longer than traditional timber gravel boards.
