The Brown Incised Fence Post from Forest is a robust post that has been made from rough sawn timber, kiln dried and then pressure treated with a preservative that gives it a rich brown colour. Each post has been scored with hundreds of incisions which allows the preservative to penetrate further into the posts for maximum protection. This long lasting, heavy duty post is suitable for use with a variety of fence panels including rough sawn Lap Panels, Vertical Board Panels and Featheredge Panels that have been Pressure Treated.
Manufactured in the UK from FSC certified timber from sustainable sources this mixed softwood fence post is pressure treated which provides the post with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee, eliminating the need for annual re-treatment.

This item is pressure treated a 15 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. Over time if left this will weather. This is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product. Alternatively the pressure treated finish creates a good foundation for colouring to suit your personal taste. If you do decide to paint or stain this item it is advisable to allow the wood to weather for 2-3 months to avoid trapping any residual chemicals from the pressure treated process. Any paint or stain you use must then be suitable for pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
