The 4Life Overlap Pressure Treated 7 x 5 Pent Shed from Forest provides a low maintenance, long lasting solution for the storage of children's toys, gardening tools and equipment. With an improved design, this shed features smaller interchangeable modular panels for a more versatile configuration and easier assembly. Sheds without windows are becoming increasingly popular as they hide valuables from view and provide only one entry point into the shed which can then be secured. The pent roof is made from hard wearing solid sheet material (OSB) and includes weatherproof green sand felt, while straight cut boards are overlapped during construction allowing for natural movement of the timber through the changing seasons and aids water run off. Supporting the shed is a pressure treated, solid timber boarded floor allowing heavy items such as compost or garden machinery to be stored safely. The door features sturdy double 'Z' bracing, anti-tamper hidden hinges and a hasp and staple latch that can be padlocked for additional security (padlock not included). The door can be hinged on the left or right so you can select the layout which best suits your garden. Supplied with full instructions and fittings ready for home assembly.

Home Assembly Service

This item is supplied flat packed ready for DIY home installation however, if you would prefer a professional installation this service can be provided by the skilled Forest installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable solid, level base in place before ordering this service.

Shed Specification

The 4Life Pressure Treated Sheds are manufactured using 7mm overlap boards, sturdy 28mm x 28mm frames, 8mm thick OSB sheet material topped with sand felt for the roof and 14mm solid timber boards for the floor. Pressure treated bearers are included to prevent ground contact with the flooring. Where windows are included each is fitted with clear shatterproof 0.75mm PET glazing that won't discolour or become brittle over time. European FSC timber is used unless otherwise stated. All sheds are supplied with fixtures, fitting and instructions for home assembly.

Warranty & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 25 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint and if left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour which is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product. However, you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
