The 4Life Overlap Pressure Treated 6 x 8 Apex Double Door Shed with Lean-To from Forest has the classic apex roof shape with roof extension that creates an additional covered storage area that can be installed on either side of the shed. It has been designed to be low maintenance, durable and easy to construct, with a versatile modular configuration that allows the windows to be positioned on any wall of the shed. The solid timber boarded floor, combined with double doors, makes the storage of heavy and bulky garden tools and machinery a breeze. 

The two fixed windows use shatterproof PET glazing while the roof is made from durable OSB boards that are covered with a weatherproof green sand felt for protection against the elements. The straight cut overlap boards used in the construction of the walls give modern clean lines whilst allowing the timber to naturally flex as it reacts to changing temperature and humidity levels through the seasons. The double doors feature sturdy 'Z' bracing, anti-tamper hidden hinges, and a hasp and staple latch for padlock security (padlock not included).

All timber is FSC certified from sustainable sources and pressure treated for a long life and the shed carries a 25 year manufacturers warranty against rot. Supplied with full instructions and fittings ready for home assembly.

Home Assembly Service

This item is supplied flat packed ready for DIY home installation however, if you would prefer a professional installation this service can be provided by the skilled Forest installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable solid, level base in place before ordering this service.

Shed Specification

The 4Life Pressure Treated Sheds are manufactured using 7mm overlap boards, sturdy 28mm x 28mm frames, 8mm thick OSB sheet material topped with sand felt for the roof and 14mm solid timber boards for the floor. Pressure treated bearers are included to prevent ground contact with the flooring. Where windows are included each is fitted with clear shatterproof 0.75mm PET glazing that won't discolour or become brittle over time. European FSC timber is used unless otherwise stated. All sheds are supplied with fixtures, fitting and instructions for home assembly.

Warranty & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 25 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint. If left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour; however you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield, or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
