The 10 x 10 Avesbury Log Cabin from Shire is a classic design that gives you the perfect space in which to relax and unwind in your garden, or makes a great workshop, hobby room, office, teenagers den, dining space or more. Made from 19mm interlocking logs which are 50% thicker than a standard shed and 12mm tongue and groove boards for the roof and floor, this is a sturdy log cabin that is built with durability in mind. This log cabin also benefits from a fully framed lockable door (lock included). The door can be positioned to the left or right of the window depending on your requirements. This cabin is also supplied with pressure treated bearers that can be installed directly onto paving slabs or a concrete base. 

Made in the UK from kiln dried FSC European Pine which reduces the moisture content in the timber and allows for tight and secure interlocking joints. 

The cabin is supplied as a self assembly kit, with instructions and fittings. The log cabin is supplied with individual interlocking logs that slot together for straightforward assembly. All Shire log cabins are designed to be easily dismantling should you move home and want to take your cabin with you.

Treatment and Maintenance

Shire Log Cabins should be treated immediately following assembly with a high quality preservative and at least once a year after. It is also recommended that the underside of the floorboards are treated before assembly for added protection. 

Home Assembly Service 

This item is supplied flat packed ready for DIY home installation however, if you would prefer a professional installation this service can be provided by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable solid, level base in place before ordering this service.  We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Delivery

Larger items will be delivered on a non returnable pallet or via HGV. The item will be unloaded from either a flatbed vehicle or HGV using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only. Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
