Hampton Estate Gates

The Hampton Wooden Estate Gates are both elegant and robust thanks to the combined use of quality smooth planed timber and metal rods and spear finials. The timber is Scandinavian Redwood which has been pressure treated for a long maintenance free life and the metalwork is steel that is dipped in black primer ready for you to paint in the colour and finish of your choice.

Wooden gate posts are recommended when installing these gate. Matching smooth planed 15cm x 15cm pressure treated posts are available in the following options:

• 15cm x 15cm x 240cm Pyramid Top Concrete in Post - £40 per post
• 15cm x 15cm x 180cm Pyramid Top Wall Mounted Post - £35 per post.

A fittings pack is available for these gates for £59.95 which includes a Ring Latch Set and 4 x Hinges Bands, 4 x Screw-On Hinge Plates and an 18" drop bolt set.

Information about your gate

Fittings. The Hampton gates are supplied without fittings unless you select the optional fittings pack which includes a ring latch, hinges and a drop bolt.

Wooden Posts. Concrete in posts must be dug in approximately 60cm deep. A small gap much be left between the post and the gate to allow for expansion of the wood.

Finish. The Hampton gates are supplied pressure treated which leaves them with a slightly green finish which if left untreated will fade or provides an ideal base for you to stain the timber in a colour of your choice. The metal infill bars and spear finials are dipped in back primer and will require a top coat of suitable exterior metal paint, such as hammerite, to prevent the formation of rust.
