Horticultural Washed Gravel from Altico is designed to be added to soil to allow more effect water movement in heavier soils making it great for use with Cacti and Succulents, it would even make a lovely pot topper to help reduce weeds in your garden planters. This bulk bag consists of 10mm Quartzite gravel in a mix of natural colours which shine when wet. It is suitable for use in ponds and water features as it is fish friendly in its natural state.

Our aggregate range is delivered in 0.8 cubic metre bulk bags on a non returnable pallet. The Bulk Bag holds around 850kg of stone, suitable to cover 5m2 at a depth of 4cm.

Sizing: Please note as all decorative aggregates are quarried. The size of the product can vary, all sizes quoted are an approximate indication of the sizes you will receive.

Colour: As these products are formed from natural stone, colour variations are to be expected.

Dust: All quarried decorative gravels will contain a certain amount of dust this is caused either by the blasting or digging at the quarries. The dust can be cleared by simply hosing the materials once laid or letting nature take its course by letting the dust wash away over time with rain fall.

Delivery

The Altico aggregates are delivered on a non returnable pallet. The pallet is unloaded from the delivery vehicle using a tail lift and a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only. Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
