The Kitchen Garden Planter from Forest is a sturdy and decorative planter that has the perfect planting depth for growing herbs and salads. This compact planter can be positioned conveniently near a back door, on your patio or balcony and will suit any garden setting. The Kitchen planter has been designed so that it raises your crops to a more accessible and convenient height of approximately 70 - 90cm for easier planting, tending and picking. This useful container is the perfect solution for people who are less able to bend down for prolong period's of time or have less accessibility to tend to their plants, vegetables or herbs. Supplied flat packed with no pre-drilled holes for easy home assembly. Instructions and screws included.
If using to grow food produce we recommend lining the bed with a porous membrane before filling with compost.
Manufactured in the UK from FSC certified timber from sustainable sources the mixed softwood is pressure treated which gives a natural wooden finish and supplied with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee thereby eliminating the need for annual re-treatment.

Warranty & Maintenance
This item is pressure treated with a 15 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint. If left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour; however you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield, or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
