The Caledonian Corner Raised Bed From Forest has a planting depth of 45cm and a compost capacity of approximately 330 litres, making it easier for accessibility and suitable for a wide variety of plants, vegetables or herbs. This shaped raised bed is available with or without a base depending on your requirements, where the added benefit of a base enables it to be positioned anywhere around your garden or on a patio as the base helps to keep the soil inside and to control the spread of weeds. Perfect for using as vegetable plots if you are keen to grow your own produce but don't have the space for a full allotment. Manufactured in the UK from rough sewn FSC certified pressure treated timber from sustainable sources, this planter is designed to last with minimal maintenance and is supplied with a manufacturer's 15 year anti-rot guarantee. Delivered flat packed, this planters frame is supplied as pre-notched timber components for quicker and easier home assembly.
This product is part of Forest's Accessible Gardening range designed in partnership with Thrive, the UK’s leading charity that helps people transform their lives through gardening.
Please note: If using to grow food produce we recommend lining the bed with a membrane before adding the soil.

Warranty & Maintenance
This item is pressure treated with a 15 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint and if left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour which is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product. However you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
Please note: accessories or planting shown in images are for photography purposes only and are not included with this item.
