The Heavy Duty Self Locking Gate Latch Set from Eliza Tinsley is designed for use with heavy wooden gates and is ideally suited to 5 bar field gates. The set comprises of a latch arm that is attached to a bolt that must be drilled through the frame of the gate. The bolt that goes through the gate is 12cm long and is secured in position with a washer and nut. The latch arm closes against the self locking receiver which is mounted on a 18cm x 3cm plate that screws to the back face of the post using the bolts provided. The latch receiver can be locked with a padlock for security. The locking gate set is made from strong steel with a galvanised finish to prevent rust.
