The 36kg Salt Spreader from Handy is designed to be used with salt to de-ice paths and driveways during winter. Manufactured with a robust stainless steel frame, heavy duty nylon gearing and weather resistant polypropylene hopper, this spreader is built with durability in mind. It has a large 36kg capacity with an adjustable feed control making it easy to reduce/increase the amount of salt that is dropped and an impressive 3.05m-3.66m spread width which means you can cover large passes in one go. It also features adjustable deflectors to easily adjust the direction the salt is spread, a hopper screen to help prevent clogging and a waterproof rain cover to keep the salt protected between uses. The two large pneumatic tyres provide high-grip traction and run smoothly over rough ground. Designed to spread refined ice melting salt (not rock salt), it can also be used through the summer month to spread fertiliser and seeds. Some home assembly required.
