The Sapphire Metal Apex Shed 6 x 6 by Storemore is available in Anthracite Grey or Green and is constructed with 0.33mm ribbed metal.  The Sapphire range are high specification, lightweight metal garden sheds and apart from the high grade of steel and paint finish, they have ventilated gables, a robust entry and exit ramp and all standard buildings have various safety features throughout.  The shed has a reinforced groove wall to provide even greater strength and the steel is hot dipped galvanized to prevent deterioration.  Everything is pre-cut and pre-drilled for ready assembly and supplied with easy to follow instructions and carries a 10 year manufacturers warranty.

It is essential that these sheds are anchored to a suitable solid base (preferably concrete), we can supply a Solid Ground Foundation Kit which includes the correct bolts required for securing to the ground (see details below). Do I need to buy a base for my shed?  This shed is designed to be installed by two people on a DIY basis but can take less experienced DIY people several hours to complete.

• All steel sheds must be anchored to a firm foundation to protect against wind damage. (A Hilti Anchor Kit is available for securing to a solid base)
  
• The shed bases need to be positioned on level ground upon a damp proof membrane (plastic sheet material) prior to installing your shed and base as this will help to limit condensation.

• If you already have a concrete or slab base with a damp proof membrane you will not require an additional base, but we do recommend that you purchase the Solid Ground Anchor Kit which includes the necessary number of Hilti screws to secure your shed into the concrete or flagstone bases.

Delivery

Delivery will be to the nearest access point of the vehicle to your property which in some cases may mean kerbside delivery only (it may be that a delivery operative may assist in placing the product in the perimeter of a property eg. garden patio or driveway. This is entirely up to their discretion having regard to all hazards involved). Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
