With its modern design, overhanging canopy and veranda, the Marlborough Log Cabin from Shire is a stylish and versatile garden building, ideal as a place to relax, or as a workshop, office, hobby room, teen den or outdoor dining space.

Crafted from 28mm interlocking logs with 14mm tongue and groove boards for the roof and floor, it’s built for strength and durability. Full-length mortice-and-tenon double doors with 4mm toughened glass and an opening window let in plenty of natural light. The door can be positioned to the left or right of the window to suit your layout. Supplied with draught excluders and pressure-treated floor bearers for installation on paving or concrete, this cabin keeps you cosy in all seasons.

Made in the UK from FSC-certified timber, supplied untreated so you can paint or stain it to suit your taste. To activate the 10-year anti-rot guarantee, treat the timber with a high-quality preservative as per the instructions.

Supplied as a self-assembly kit with all fittings and instructions. Easy to build with slot-together logs. Optional home assembly by Shire is available. Cabins can be dismantled for relocation if needed.

Treatment and Maintenance

Shire Log Cabins should be treated immediately following assembly with a high quality preservative and at least once a year after. It is also recommended that the underside of the floorboards are treated before assembly for added protection. 

Home Assembly Service 

If you don't have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available on this item. This service is conducted by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place before ordering this service. We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Larger items will be delivered on a non returnable pallet or via HGV. The item will be unloaded from either a flatbed vehicle or HGV using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only.
