The Lodge Playhouse from Shire is a very special playhouse for very lucky children. The beautiful design provides lots of space for children to play with friends whilst also ensuring you have a building that will look amazing in any garden. The Lodge has two floors, the upper floor is located above the veranda, being reached by a small flight of steps. The main area has a floor to ceiling height of up to 8ft 6in, allowing children of all ages and parents to stand up comfortably once inside. The covered veranda provides shelter even on a wet day and adds to the charm of this stunning building. All ground floor windows open whilst the upper floor windows are fixed to prevent accidental falls. The glazing used in the door and windows is safety styrene and the door has a full length piano hinge to prevent little fingers getting trapped.

This playhouse is made from specially selected smooth planed FSC sustainably sourced timber. The timber has been pre-treated with a water based preservative for protection during transit, making an ideal foundation for colouring to suit your personal taste. In order to receive the full 10 year anti-rot guarantee, the timber must be treated with a high quality timber preservative prior to or shortly after construction in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Home Assembly Service 

If you don't have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available on this item. This nationwide* service is conducted by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place before ordering this service. We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Delivery

This item is delivered on a non returnable pallet. The pallet is unloaded from a flatbed vehicle using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only. Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
