The Beckwood 8 x 12 Shiplap Apex Summerhouse from Forest is a wonderful way of providing a sheltered space whatever the weather, making it perfect for use as a playroom or den, hobby room, workshop, dining space or just somewhere to sit and relax while enjoying your garden. The improved summerhouse range from Forest is supported by 30% thicker framing than what is normally found on most wooden summerhouses, therefore providing more timber framing around each panel to increase overall strength and stability - this summerhouse is built with longevity in mind.
This summerhouse features a traditional yet modern design with a strong shiplap tongue and groove interlocking panel construction ensuring a seamless fit and enhancing both structural integrity and aesthetic appeal, whilst also allowing for natural movement of the timber. The six large three-quarter length glazed fixed windows and double doors flood the interior with light and are made from shatter-resistant acrylic which is a much safer alternative to glass. This delightful summerhouse has the added benefit of a modular design, featuring smaller interchangeable panels for a more versatile configuration and simpler assembly, while double doors provide easier access and includes a heavy duty door bolt and barrel bolts for securing when not in use. A pressure treated, tongue and groove floor is provided, allowing for the storage of heavier items, and high quality polypropylene backed mineral felt is supplied for the roof for improved weather protection. All of the timber used in this summerhouse has been pressure treated, providing the ultimate level of protection and is supplied with a 25 year manufacturers anti-rot guarantee for additional peace of mind.
This product comes as a self assembly kit with all instructions and fittings supplied, but if you would prefer to leave all the hard work to the experts at Forest, then choose the assembly option.
Manufactured in the UK from FSC certified timber from sustainable sources. The pressure treatment that has been applied provides a 25 year anti-rot guarantee, eliminating the need for annual re-treatment.

Warranty & Maintenance
This item is pressure treated with a 25 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint. If left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour; however you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield, or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
Please note due to current felt availability, the colour supplied may vary from product description.
