Often known also as larch lap and overlap fencing, these type of panels feature horizontal wooden slats arranged in such a way that they slightly overlap the slat below usually with vertical battens to strengthen the slats. Commonly seen in many gardens they offer you a cost effective, reliable and strong fencing solution. We recommend using them with wooden or concrete posts and a gravel board to protect the bottom of the panel.
In contrast to lap fencing, close board features panels that are arranged in a vertical fashion. Considered a more superior fence panelling option and we also recommend using a gravel board to protect the bottom of the panel. The close board fencing includes a heavy duty frame and is therefore designed to last for at least 15 years.
The more decorative of the fencing panel range, trellis panels feature timber batons arranged in such a way they provide a distinct aesthetic appeal by creating patterns. Most commonly seen in diamond pattern and often combined with other forms of fencing such as chevron slats which can be seen in products such as the Elite St Servan. These panels address a different kind of style and bring a unique visual element to any garden. Each panel should be divided by a post and these fence types can be very effectively combined with post finials to increase the visual appeal.
