The Overlap Pressure Treated 4 x 3 Apex Shed from Forest provides a low maintenance, long lasting storage solution for gardening tools and equipment or children's toys. Manufactured from straight cut 7mm overlap timber boards which give flexibility and allows for the natural movement of the timber through changing weather conditions. This shed has a green sand felted roof constructed from hard wearing (OSB) sheet material and smooth-planed barge boards to aid water run-off. A strong solid timber boarded floor enables the storage of heavier items such as lawnmowers or bags of compost. The two fixed windows are glazed with shatterproof PET which is highly durable and will not become yellow or brittle over time. This compact shed is an excellent option for gardens where space is at a premium and features a strong, double 'Z' framed door with hidden hinges. The door is also universal hanging so it can be hinged on either side to suit its location and is fitted with a padlockable hasp and staple latch for additional security (padlock not included).

This item is supplied flat packed ready for DIY home installation however, if you would prefer a professional installation this service can be provided by the skilled Forest installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable solid, level base in place before ordering this service.

Shed Specification

The Forest Pressure Treated Sheds are manufactured using 7mm overlap boards, sturdy 28mm x 28mm frames, 8mm thick OSB sheet material topped with sand felt for the roof and 14mm solid timber boards for the floor. Pressure treated bearers are included to prevent ground contact with the flooring. Where windows are included each is fitted with clear shatterproof 0.75mm PET glazing that won't discolour or become brittle over time. European FSC timber is used unless otherwise stated. All sheds are supplied with fixtures, fitting and instructions for home assembly

Warranty & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 25 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint and if left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour which is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product. However, you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
