The Mumley 7 x 5 Summerhouse from Shire is the ideal space to relax and unwind in your garden, transform the space into a workshop, hobby room, teenagers den, dining space or more. Made from 12mm Shiplap cladding and sturdy 34mm square framing. This is a traditional shape summerhouse which benefits from joinery made glazed double doors allowing plenty of natural light to enter the internal space. This summerhouse also comes with an overhanging canopy to provide additional shelter from the elements. The timber used in the construction of this summerhouse is pressure treated, providing the ultimate level of protection yo give you a building with a long, low maintenance life. 

This product comes as a self assembly kit with all instructions and fittings supplied, but if you would prefer to leave all the hard work to the experts at Shire, then opt for a home delivery and construction package.

Home Assembly Service 

If you don't have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available on this item. This service is conducted by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place before ordering this service. We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Care & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 10 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint. If left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour; however you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield, or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.

Larger items will be delivered on a non returnable pallet or via HGV. The item will be unloaded from either a flatbed vehicle or HGV using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only. Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
