Maintaining Pine Garden Furniture

Pine furniture will last for many years with proper care and attention. A water based wood preservative should be applied once or twice a year to slow down the weathering of the timber and the furniture should be either covered or stored indoors when not in use for long periods of time, especially during the winter. It can be cleaned with soapy water if required. The furniture will have knots and other natural features in the timber which is a natural characteristic of the wood and will not compromise the lifespan or structure of your furniture.
