The Slatted Border Edging from Forest offers a modern alternative to the more traditional log or picket edging and it is perfect for creating edgings on borders, pathways and lawns or partitioning or marking boundaries. Each edging is supplied in a 1.2m length with integral spikes for sinking into soft ground and is also pre-fitted with a porous black liner which helps define the slatted effect and keeps soil from escaping, while allowing water and air to feed through. Manufactured in the UK from UK grown FSC approved pressure treated timber with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee. Supplied in three pack options.

This item is pressure treated with a 15 year manufacturersanti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment will leave the item with a palegreen finish that allows the natural beauty of the wood to show through andover time if left this will weather to an attractive silver/grey finish. Thisis perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product.Alternatively the pressure treated finish creates a good foundation forcolouring to suit your personal taste. If you do decide to paint or stain thisitem it is advisable to allow the wood to weather for 2-3 months to avoidtrapping any residual chemicals from the pressure treated process. Any paint orstain you use must then be suitable for pressure treated timber. Please notenatural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity norstructure of the product.
