Warranty & Maintenance

All Churnet Valley items are handmade and come with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. Pressure treated for durability; the timber has a lifespan of up to 20 years with minimal maintenance. Initially, the wood is left with a temporary green tint and if left to weather, will fade to a silvery grey colour. You can change the colour immediately by using Protek Timber Eco Shield, or it can be painted/stained after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a compatible product. As a natural material wood features knots and grain variations, natural splitting and cracking may occur due to seasonal moisture changes, this will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
