Hera Greenhouse

The Hera Greenhouse from Vitavia is an attractive garden room style greenhouse that will bring an eye-catching feature to your garden space. Perfect for growing plants, vegetables or simply add a table and chairs for a wonderful outdoor space to relax in. This greenhouse will last you for years due to the anodised aluminium or powder coated finish as it eliminates rust and unsightly discolouration and along with tough framework, which is a key benefit for a structure that has to withstand the varying changes in our climate. The process of anodisation is what the aluminium goes through to preserve it by increasing corrosion resistance and therefore keeping it looking pristine throughout its life.

The Hera is available in two sizes either 8ft x 7ft giving 4.5m² (48ft²) or 12ft x 11ft giving 9.0m² (97ft²), offering generous garden or leisure space with an eaves' height of 1.82m (6') which is perfect for the taller gardener. Both of these delightful models feature either a single or double sliding door for easier access.

All models are supplied with standard gutters, vents (size dependent), corner plates and braces for added strength. The Hera 9000 model is also supplied with a full length downpipe, the waterbutt and connector can be used with this model only once the downpipe has been cut short to accommodate this. Includes a 10 year manufacturer's warranty on the Greenhouse Frames (excluding glass and moving parts). Home assembly required.

Glazing options

Vitavia greenhouses are available with up to three glazing options, depending on model type:

• 3mm Horticultural Glass: the traditional glazing option
• 3mm Toughened, safety glass: no sharp edges; ideal when young children are around
• 3mm Toughened, safety glass sides. 6mm Polycarbonate roof: retains heat, diffuses sunlight and reduces the risk of scorch. Safe and virtually unbreakable

Greenhouse base (optional accessory)

It is essential that every greenhouse is built on a firm and level base. Vitavia prefabricated steel bases are available as an accessory for all Vitavia models. Matching coloured bases are available for painted greenhouses. Using a Vitavia base will add an extra 12.5cm (5”) to the height of the greenhouse.

Greenhouse Accessories

A wide range of useful and labour saving accessories are included in the Vitavia range. Shelving and staging help make the most of the space within a greenhouse. Folding units are available if you wish to grow taller plants. Extra roof vents and louvre side windows are also available together with automatic openers that allow vent and louvre windows to open and close automatically according to inside temperature of the greenhouse. Vitavia also offer various devices for measuring the temperature and humidity of the air and down pipes can be fitted for the collection of rainwater. (Please note: Glazing Spring Clips are compatible with the Hera 4500 model).

Assembly*

If you do not have the requisite DIY skills, a home assembly service is available. This service is conducted by a Vitavia recommended installer at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place as this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings.
