The Beeston Composite Single Gate from Castle Gates is a solid pedestrian gate that offers full privacy for your home. How to Measure Gates

The width measurements are the actual width of the gate. When installing the gate, the overall gap required needs to be between 3cm and 5cm wider than the gate to allow space for the hinges and latch keep.

The height measurement of the gate is taken from the bottom to the top of the side frame. Your post or pillar should be at least 10cm longer overall than the gate to allow for the hinges to be fitted. They require 5cm above the gate and 5cm below. 

General Information

Fittings. The Beeston Composite Single Gate is supplied with hinges, door handles, mortice lock with keys and latch keep. Please note the hinges and latch keep require a flat vertical surface for installation and are supplied black in colour.

Opening Direction. The Beeston Composite Single Gate is supplied with universal fittings that allows the gate to be hung on the left or right and the latch keep can be set to allow the gate to open either towards or away from you.

Gate Posts. Posts are only required if you do not already have walls or posts in place on which to hang the gate.
