The Overlap 6 x 3 Double Door Pent Shed from Shire is a functional, general domestic British manufactured garden shed that uses pressure treated timber throughout for a long, low maintenance life. The walls are constructed using rough sawn, overlap timber cladding that is supported by 34mm thick frames. The roof uses 8mm OSB boards covered by mineral felt and the floor uses 9mm OSB boards, making this suitable for storing general gardening tools and equipment. This traditional shed is supplied without windows for increased security and the double doors are secured by a hasp and staple lock ready for your own padlock.

Home Assembly Service 

If you don't have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available on this item. This service is conducted by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place before ordering this service. We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Maintenance & Care

This item is pressure treated with a 10 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint. If left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour; however you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield, or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.

Larger items will be delivered on a non returnable pallet or via HGV. The item will be unloaded from either a flatbed vehicle or HGV using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only. Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
