The Beckwood Shiplap Pressure Treated 8 x 6 Reverse Apex Shed from Forest provides a low maintenance, long lasting storage solution for bicycles, children's toys, gardening tools and other outdoor equipment. This strong, secure shed is supplied without windows for increased security and is a great way of adding a versatile working storage area to your outside space. The improved design of this shiplap shed is supported by 30% thicker framing than what is found on most wooden sheds, providing more timber framing around each panel to increase overall strength. The larger interior space provided makes it perfect for storing a wide variety of garden items and equipment.

The new and improved fully modular panel design is used throughout, making same-sized panels interchangeable for easier construction, allowing for a more versatile configuration. Each panel is constructed using robust and interlocking pressure-treated shiplap cladding throughout for a watertight seal, and rather than the more common OSB (oriented strand board), the Beckwood range also features an extra-thick interlocking tongue and groove floor which allows for the storage of heavier items. Featuring hidden hinges the door can be fitted with a left or right-hand opening depending on what is suitable for your garden layout, while double 'Z' framing provides increased strength, and a lockable hasp and staple latch are also included for added security (padlock not included). The reverse apex roof includes a hard wearing 8mm OSB solid sheet roof that is finished with a high quality green felt cover for complete weather protection.

Home Assembly Service

This item is supplied flat packed ready for DIY home installation however, if you would prefer a professional installation this service can be provided by the skilled Forest installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable solid, level base in place before ordering this service.

Shed Specification

The Forest Pressure Treated Sheds are manufactured using 12mm shiplap cladding, sturdy 28mm x 28mm frames, 8mm thick OSB sheet material topped with green felt for the roof and 14mm solid timber boards for the floor. Pressure treated bearers are included to prevent ground contact with the flooring. Where windows are included each is fitted with a clear shatterproof 3mm acrylic glazing that won't discolour or become brittle over time. European FSC timber is used unless otherwise stated. All sheds are supplied with fixtures, fitting and instructions for home assembly.

Warranty & Maintenance

This item is pressure treated with a 25 year manufacturers anti rot guarantee. The pressure treatment leaves the wood with a temporary green tint and if left to weather, the wood will fade to a silvery grey colour which is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product. However, you can change the colour straight away by staining the wood using Protek Timber Eco Shield or it can be painted after it has been allowed to weather for at least 3 months using a product compatible for use with pressure treated timber. Please note natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the longevity nor structure of the product.
