The Cambridge 9 x 10 Metal Apex Shed from Royalcraft offers a low maintenance and durable garden storage solution for gardens or for use on caravan parks where non-combustible sheds are compulsory. This apex shed is constructed using hot-dipped galvanised steel with a panel thickness of 0.25mm and dark grey finish throughout and carries a 15 year limited manufacturer's warranty.
The shed features 160cm side walls and the frame is made from solid galvanised steel. The double sliding doors and access ramp provide great access making it easy to store and retrieve bulky items, above the doors there are also patented rain-proof roof vents that allow air to circulate inside the shed. The Apex roof shape ensures that water run-off is towards the sides of the shed, preventing it from flooding the doorway and with the fibre reinforced plastic skylight this allows plenty of light into the internal space.
Supplied with a user friendly manual with easy to follow illustrations, this shed takes two people around 4 to 6 hours to assemble. Also included is a steel grid foundation kit, padlock, 2 keys and 2 pairs of gloves for use during assembly.
With the steel foundation grid this is designed to be installed on top of a solid base such as paving slabs or a concrete slab over a damp proof membrane before attaching the shed to it. Once installed, you can fill with concrete or cover with marine ply to create an internal floor. It is essential that these sheds are anchored to a suitable solid base to protect against wind damage.
