The 10 x 14 Rowney Corner Log Cabin from Shire is great for an awkward or unusual space and with its traditional summerhouse look and separate storage area, it gives you the perfect space in which to relax and unwind in your garden, or makes a great workshop, hobby room, office, teenagers den, dining space or more. Made from 28mm interlocking logs, this is a sturdy log cabin that is built with durability in mind. This log cabin also benefits from mortise and tenon 3/4 horticultural glazed lockable double doors, with two large opening windows on either side, allowing plenty of natural light and ventilation into the internal space. It also has the added benefit of an adjoining storage area located to the right of the cabin and separated by an internal dividing wall, which can be accessed through a solid external single lockable door.  This cabin is also supplied with draft excluders on the window and doors so that you will be snug inside no matter the weather outside and it also comes with pressure treated bearers that can be installed directly onto paving slabs or a concrete base. 

Made in the UK from kiln dried FSC European Pine which reduces the moisture content in the timber and allows for tight and secure interlocking joints. 

The cabin is supplied as a self assembly kit, with instructions and fittings and with individual interlocking straight edged logs that slot together for straightforward assembly while giving a sleek contemporary look. Treatment and Maintenance

Shire Log Cabins should be treated immediately following assembly with a high quality preservative and at least once a year after. It is also recommended that the underside of the floorboards are treated before assembly for added protection. 

Home Assembly Service 

If you don't have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available on this item. This nationwide* service is conducted by the skilled Shire installation team at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please note that this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place before ordering this service. We recommend that the base onto which your building will stand should be at least 460mm (18") larger in each direction than the total footprint size of the building.

Delivery

Larger items will be delivered on a non returnable pallet or via HGV. The item will be unloaded from either a flatbed vehicle or HGV using a hand pump truck which requires a flat, firm surface for unloading. In some cases, this may mean kerbside delivery only. Please make us aware of any vehicle access restrictions such as height, width or weight limits as failed deliveries due to access issues may incur a failed delivery charge.
