The IDA Greenhouse from Vitavia is a wall garden that is the ideal option for gardeners who have limited space available in their garden. This space saving greenhouse is designed for use on balconies, patios or walled gardens to grow plants, seedlings and tomatoes, and the varied model sizes have either single or double smooth action sliding door(s) for easy accessibility. This greenhouse will last you for years due to the anodised aluminium or powder coated finish as it eliminates rust and unsightly discolouration and along with tough framework, which is a key benefit for a structure that has to withstand the varying changes in our climate. The process of anodisation is what the aluminium goes through to preserve it by increasing corrosion resistance and therefore keeping it looking pristine throughout its life.

The IDA 900, 1300 and 3300 models have access to the front of the structure (900 and 1300 models have single sliding doors and the 3300 model has double sliding doors), one roof vent and a high ridge for increased access, whereas the larger models IDA 5200 are wider and deeper, have 1-2 vents depending on size and double sliding doors which can be positioned at the front of the structure or separated as single sliding doors on either side. Shelving is available for these walled gardens which will substantially increase the growing area and all IDA models are supplied with 6mm polycarbonate roof panels. These lean-to greenhouse's sited against a sunny wall is ideal for keeping you and/or your plants warm long after sunset as the greenhouse retains the warmth from the wall during most of the evening.

All models are supplied with standard gutters and vents (size dependent), corner plates and braces for added strength. Includes a 10 year guarantee on the Greenhouse Frames (excluding glass and moving parts). Home assembly required.

Glazing options

Vitavia greenhouses are available with up to three glazing options, depending on model type:

• 3mm Horticultural Glass: the traditional glazing option
• 3mm Toughened, safety glass: no sharp edges; ideal when young children are around
• 3mm Toughened, safety glass sides. 6mm Polycarbonate roof: retains heat, diffuses sunlight and reduces the risk of scorch. Safe and virtually unbreakable

Greenhouse base (optional accessory)

It is essential that every greenhouse is built on a firm and level base. Vitavia prefabricated steel bases are available as an accessory for all Vitavia models. Matching coloured bases are available for painted greenhouses. Using a Vitavia base will add an extra 12.5cm (5”) to the height of the greenhouse.

Greenhouse Accessories

A wide range of useful and labour-saving accessories are included in the Vitavia Range. Shelving and staging help make the most of the space within a greenhouse. Folding units are available if you want to grow taller plants. Louvre side windows are also available for larger models and automatic openers that allow vents and louvre windows to open and close according to temperature. Vitavia also offers various devices for measuring the temperature and humidity of the air. (Please note: The Louvre Window is only compatible with models IDA 5200 and 7800. The IDA Shelf Set is compatible with models 900 and 1300).

If you do not have the requisite DIY skills a home assembly service is available. This service is conducted by a Vitavia recommended installer at an agreed time which is convenient for you. Please ensure you have a suitable base in place as this service is assembly only and does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings.
