Wrought Iron Railings

There are a surprisingly large amount of railing styles and designs and which one you choose depends entirely on where they’re going to go and your preference on style. As well as the traditional designsfeaturing linear lines formed by the vertical and horizontal bars such as our Saxon railings, there are more Spanish style designs available such as the Stirling range which features more elegant swirls and floral patterns.

Flat top railings are exactly what they sound like; they feature a single horizontal iron bar which lays parallel to the ground through which the vertical bars intersect. The bar tops are either welded to the underneath of the horizontal top bar like those in our classic railings range, have arrows or spear head tops like those on our manor railings range or the loop top railings which you can see in our court fence panel railings. These create a very simplistic and minimal aesthetic appeal which don’t draw attention yet fit into their surroundings with elegance and inconspicuously.

There are several arch top railings available; the partially convex style such as manor arched range as well as the concave arch railings as featured in our Sandringhamproduct. Like the flat top styles of fencing there is a variance in how the tops of the upright bars are finished. There is the arrow head style as featured in our product range with either the larger spear or much smaller head. These styles of gate are much more eye catching and go particularly nicely when each panel is separated by a solid divider such as brickwork as you can see in the below image of our manor arched railings.
