The 550 Weed Wand from Parasene is a long handled weed burner, designed to take the back breaking work out of weeding patios and driveways. The Weed Wand works by applying a high temperature flame to the weed, destroying the weeds internal cell structure causing them to wither and die within a day or two.
The Weed Wand is an eco-friendly method of weed control as it eliminates the need for toxic or hazardous chemicals and leaves the treated area completely safe for children and animals. The weed burner runs on easy to obtain Butane/propane mix 'blow torch' gas cylinders with a female screw connector, type EN417 (not included). The gas supply is turned on by means of a control knob and ignited via the electronic piezo button located on the handle, a safe distance away from the flame.
As well as weed control, the Weed Wand can also be used to de-ice pathways, thawing frozen brass water pipes and lighting bonfires and barbecues!
