How to Measure Fencing
The fence panel width measurement of 1830mm (6ft) includes the space required by the hinges that are supplied for installation. Therefore this measurement is the actual gap width that is required by one panel.
If you buy two panels and one post, you will need an overall opening of 1830+50+1830mm = 3710mm (12ft 2in)
The height measurement is taken from the bottom frame to the top frame of the fence.
When installing your fence, remember to leave ground clearance, typically 50mm (2").
General Information
Fittings. The Saxon Fence Panels are supplied with hinges and self tapping screws.
Finish. The Saxon Fence Panels are supplied dipped in a black primer ready for you to paint with a top coat in the colour of your choice. We recommend Hammerite but any exterior metal paint can be applied.
