Rhododendrons are lovely ornamental shrubs for acid soils. This wonderful variety has compact clusters of deep crimson purple flowers during May to June and rich green evergreen leaves. This fine Rhododendron does well in sun or shade. Grows up to about 3 meters over the years. Ideal for a woodland border with humus enriched acid soil.
