How to Measure Railings
For the width, measure the gap you have between your pillars or posts. If you are replacing an existing railing panel, do not measure the railing itself as this will not take into account the space for the hinges that are supplied and required for installation. If you are building a new wall, ensure you leave a gap between your pillars of exactly 1830mm (6ft).
The height measurement of the railing is from the bottom frame to the highest point in the railing.
When installing your railing, remember to allow for base clearance, typically 50mm (2").
General Information
Fittings. The Regent Railing is supplied with hinges and self tapping screws.
Finish.The Regent Railings are supplied dipped in a black primer ready for you to paint with a top coat in the colour of your choice. We recommend Hammerite but any exterior metal paint can be applied.
