At Garden Oasis we stock Electric Propagators which can extend your growing season to most months of the year. By raising the ambient temperature of the compost they enable you to sow far earlier, and the results are dramatic. Try a simple test - sow two pots of identical seeds at the same time, place one in your propagator, and leave the other outside of it. The growth spurt of the pot growing inside your electric propagator will convince you totally - this was a wise purchase!

Electric propagators guard against sudden drops in temperature, and we stock various models to suit your individual requirements. Our models have adjustable or automatic temperature controls so that you achieve optimum growing conditions.

Your seeds should be undamaged in transit, and the growing compost used should be one specifically recommended for seeds and cuttings. We strongly advise against the use of top soil, because although yours may be rich in nutrients, it will also harbour pests, and will be likely to waterlog easily.

Your seeds need four elements: Moisture, Oxygen, Temperature and Light. Germination starts when water is absorbed by the seeds (memo - don't allow them to dry out, this may well damage the seedlings and could even prove fatal). A water spray is very useful so do remember to keep one filled and handy.

Electric Propagators can be used inside your greenhouse, but are also perfect for use inside your conservatory or kitchen or outhouse. All you need is is a stable surface at least 16" wide, and a handy plug socket. Happy gardening.
