This scented magnolia has remarkable, large, purple tulip-like flowers, about 12cm tall. It is slow-growing and easy to maintain in both large or small gardens. Flowers in mid to late spring. Plant in sheltered spot to maximise flowering they don’t like windy exposed sites.
