How to Order Made to Measure Gates
Measure the gap you have between your walls or posts. If you are replacing an existing gate, do not measure the gate itself - we will calculate the size the gate needs to be to allow space for the hinges & latch. If you are also buying posts, remember to allow space for these.
Measure the height of gate you require, from the bottom of the frame to the highest point in the gate. Remember to allow for ground clearance, typically 50mm (2") or more if your ground slopes.
1. Select the relevant gap width band your gate falls into. If your gap width is over the maximum shown, we are unable to make the gate you require.
2. Select the relevant height band your gate falls into. If your gate height is over the maximum shown, we are unable to make the gate you require.
3. Enter the exact gap measurement (in millimeters or inches)
4. Enter the exact height measurement (in millimeters or inches)
5. Type any comments or notes where relevant.
