Teak garden benches
Teak is the preferred choice of hardwood in the manufacture of high quality garden benches. It is packed with natural oils which help resist wear from the elements. The closely spaced grain of the wood fibres make teak wood very hard wearing and resistant to rotting and warping. Hence this material is chosen because of its low maintenance requirements.
However, you should oil your teak garden bench every 6 months to make sure you enjoy an extra long life and your bench continues to resist the elements and remain as sturdy and high quality as the day you bought it!
Companion seats and double benches
As well as the more traditional garden benches we also stock a great range of companion benches. These feature a pair of single wooden seats separated by a wooden (although we go have a copper companion seat) table that connects the two.
Great as an added garden feature with a choice of materials from teak and other high quality hardwood. They are especially nice for sharing with another as the central table offers the opportunity to place cups and other items onto it.
Traditional style garden benches
Normally around 120cm wide and 96cm high, our range of more traditional straight backed two seater benches also range in style and material. For a more contemporary setting we recommend the Langkawi 2 seater bench which combines high quality hardwood with the modern elements found in aluminium. More of a traditionalist? No problem, you might like to take a look at our bronze bench or perhaps the classy and elegant pergola garden bench. |
