At Garden Oasis we stock 3 types of outdoor garden heaters:
Here are some pointers as to which may be the most suitable for your needs:
Log burning firepits
Do you have plentiful supply of wood which you can burn on your own outdoor firepit? If you can gather wood free, then you are doubly in luck. If not, purchase logs or lump charcoal, both widely available. Do you want to watch the dancing flames, and then the dying embers as the evening draws on? We stock a variety of delightful styles of firepits, and they are a garden feature in themselves. You can even cook a sausage or two on some models! Do decide where you want to site the firepit before choosing your model. Ideally it will be sat on a patio surface. If you are thinking of standing it on wooden decking then you must opt for one of the models which are approved for that use - such as our Safety Firepit - we have several suitable models.
Gas Outdoor Heaters
These are virtually maintenance free, easy to operate, and are frequently used in smoking shelters of pubs and public buildings as well as for domestic use. Our gas fired heater is inexpensive to purchase (you buy the gas bottles locally) and gives out an impressive range of heat from 5kw - 9.9kw, so everyone will be cosy. These heaters have become increasingly popular for domestic use.
Electric Outdoor Heaters
The easiest of all to operate, and ideal also for use inside summerhouses, conservatories etc. They are also inexpensive to purchase. Our outdoor electric heater is quartz infra red operated, directing the heat at you, not into the atmosphere. It has 3 heat settings 650w, 1300w and 2000w, and will cost approximately 4.5p - 14p hour to operate, depending on heat setting chosen and cost from your energy supplier. It is height adjustable, and the head will angle directionally. Alternatively you can wall mount it (bracket is supplied). It is supplied with 3 metres of outdoor quality rubberised power cable.
