This artificial Decoy Heron is designed to protect your pond from nuisance birds. Herons can completely empty your pond of fish, however they are lone predators so placing a decoy heron at the side of your pond should deter the real thing. The Heron is held in place by a ground stake, so will need to be installed next to the pond if your pond has a liner.
