The word 'Cloche' is a French term and in your garden a Cloche is a temporary structure acting as mini unheated portable greenhouse. Providing protection from the worst of the weather, Cloches:
- Are very inexpensive.

They can be manufactured from different materials, and can act as a mini polytunnel. You can purchase a Cloche with the sole purpose of protecting a very vulnerable plant which is not designed to withstand the rigors of the British winter.
