Information about Teak
Teak has long been the preferred choice in the manufacture of high quality wooden garden furniture. A hardwood packed with it own natural oils, combined with a close grain makes teak incredibly resistant to rotting, weathering and warping, thus requiring little or no maintenance.
Left untreated teak will, with age, assume a classic silver grey patina. If preferred, teak can be oiled to slow down this silvering processes.
Environmental awareness ensures that teak supplied by Garden Oasis is produced from managed and sustainable plantations and carries the Perum Perhutani certification.
