Also known as Juneberry this fantastic deciduous shrub puts on an outstanding show for most of the year, stary white flowers bloom in dense clusters in strong contrast with the young coppery coloured foliage in March, turning a soft green colour in summer. In July it will be smothered with dark red edible berries which become purple black as they ripen. During Autumn it turns to a scarlet and crimson colour before loosing it's leaves. This plant is self-fertile and it is also suitable for hedging.
