Also known as "The Persian Silk Tree', this spectacular ornamental tree has clusters of long lasting fuzzy pink, feathery blooms from mid summer to autumn. The exotic flowers and fern-like foliage resemble a picture you might expect in the orient. Its leaves slowly close during the night as if it were sleeping and during periods of rain. This deciduous tree is small and easy to maintain it likes a sunny position in well drained soil.
